    Nowadays, there are a lot of products to choose from when you are shopping. Every product is screaming for your attention, using bright colours and marketing techniques. One of those marketing techniques is communicating positive traits of the product, highlighting authenticity, nostalgia and quality. This memory game, Etikette (Etiquette) focusses on these different techniques. The images on the card are from the packaging of different brands of the same product, showing a lot of similarity. For instance, cacao powder relies on nostalgic, old fashioned graphics. Another example is the packaging of rice. Rice is always shown on a spoon, to emphasise that the rice is not sticky, and therefore high quality.
